Anthony R. Scifo is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois, admitted in November 2007.
Anthony is a Court approved Guardian ad Litem for the Family Law Divisions of Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and DeKalb County. Further, he is a Court approved Guardian ad Litem for the Adoption Division and the Probate Division in Kane County, Illinois.

Anthony is also an experienced and Court-Approved Family Law Mediator in DuPage, DeKalb, and Kendall County.
In November 2015, Anthony was invited by INADR to be a Judge for the 16th Annual International Intercollegiate Mediation Tournament at Drake University Law School and helped other Mediators from around the country to Judge said tournament, many of whom are involved heavily in academia.
Anthony is also an experienced and Court approved Arbitration Judge in Kane County, Illinois, and regularly scheduled for this role.
Anthony was a regular bi-monthly legal columnist for the Kane County Chronicle with regard to general legal matters from 2013 through 2014.
Additionally, he has written five publications for the Kane County Bar Briefs, topics of which have extended from a dissertation on the Service member Civil Relief Act and its effects on civil proceedings.

As of July 2016, Anthony is the Editor in Chief of the Kane County Bar Briefs, the legal journal published by the Kane County Bar Association. Additionally, he will be the Committee Chair for the Estate & Probate Collegium Committee, which is devoted to the exploration of complex legal issues that arise during the course of either probate administration or probate litigation.
Anthony is a regular volunteer for the Kane County “Lawyer in the Library” Active in Your Community Program with regard to family law matters, a regular volunteer for the Kane County Lawyer in the Lobby Active in Your Community Program with regard to general civil litigation matters, and regularly assists Prairie State Legal Services and Administer Justice by accepting clients. Anthony enjoys devoting his time and legal help to others afflicted with complex litigation as time permits.
